HISTORY & MISSION

Deckard Technologies, Inc. was founded in 2018 by a key group of Big Data and AI & Machine-Learning experts. All of the founding group has their own impressive background and many decades of combined experience and expertise in wrangling, processing and transforming data.
The idea began when world-renowned cryptographer and inventor Greg Rose believed that positive change could be made in communities with the right team of brilliant scientists. Greg assembled Jess Flanagan, Tony Moriarty, Craig Brown and Nick Del Pego who had all come from an innovative data science team that previously worked within his organization at Qualcomm. They helped Qualcomm Technologies tackle some of the most difficult, data-intensive challenges and their experience, knowledge, and creativity has made Deckard flourish.
The team's success at Qualcomm, and now at Deckard, is testimony to the truly exceptional abilities of the entire group. Equipped with such specialist skills and knowledge, they set their sights on applying this prowess to the challenge of identifying unregistered short-term rentals for local governments and recovering revenues.
Deckard brings unmatched proficiency with a singular focus on data integrity. Every client has significantly increased compliance and improved revenue collections. The process starts with producing the cleanest data, ensuring accurate reporting and careful compliance monitoring. In-house experts liaise with customers to make sure they are following the best practices.
Deckard's mission is to ensure that local governments have the information and insights to maximize compliance and revenues. This revenue funds our schools, roads, health, law enforcement, fire services, parks, libraries, sanitation, and basic services. Without crucial revenues identified and realized, communities suffer. Put simply, compliance = equity.
