Building on a period of outstanding growth, the new brand reflects our commitment to serving city and county teams with accurate and actionable data, insight and dedicated customer service.

• 11 billion datapoints collected daily, including five dynamic booking calendar variables refreshed seven days a week

These milestones aren’t just impressive—they’re delivering real results for communities across America and beyond.

Deckard Technologies’ customers are seeing measurable outcomes including 95% average STR compliance and an average 40% increase in tax revenue.

We’re also freeing up time-crunched municipal teams to get on with their other responsibilities. In Sandusky, Ohio, for example, Rentalscape is saving Housing Manager Stephen Rucker’s team 80 hours every two weeks on the time it takes to identify and manage vacation and short-term rentals.

“After adopting Rentalscape’s automated monitoring, the data gathering now happens with a few clicks instead of weeks of manual effort. It’s been a godsend,” Rucker says.

Down on Florida's Atlantic coast, the story is the same. "Rentalscape has given us the ability to simply type in an address and get all the information we need about a property, cutting our research time by 75%," says City of Fernandina Beach Code Enforcement Officer Crystal Rimes.

Leveraging short-term rental expertise with new long-term rental compliance platform

Having established Rentalscape as the leading short term rental management software for local governments, we’re expanding with a new platform designed specifically for long term rental (LTR) compliance.

The new LTR offering helps municipalities address critical issues like housing affordability, tenant safety, and long-term property compliance, meeting growing demands from local government teams for better insights on long-term rentals in their communities, and modern tools to manage them.

“Our clients need more than just spreadsheets. They need integrated tools that combine registration, compliance, inspections and analytics,” Deckard Technologies CTO and Founder Jess Flanagan says.

“This new platform is purpose-built to meet those needs while maintaining the flexibility to scale with each city’s specific requirements.”  

With the LTR compliance market estimated to be three to seven times larger than the STR market in the U.S. alone, this move also opens new opportunities for Deckard Technologies’ growth.

Data Leadership and Security

Deckard Technologies continues to set the benchmark in tax compliance software through data excellence and security. Our recent acquisition of data specialist AllTheRooms (ATR) further extends our leadership, adding the depth of a decade of detailed historical data across a broad spread of geographical regions, as well as advanced analytics and real-time data dashboards that will significantly lift what Rentalscape and our new long-term rental platform can do for customers. The acquisition also includes 16 US patents that further strengthen our AI-powered property intelligence platforms.

The acquisition comes after Deckard Technologies wasgranted three patents related to real estate and property data by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in January.

We’ve also taken further steps to give customers reassurance that the data they rely on is meeting enterprise-grade security and privacy standards.

In April 2025, Deckard Technologies achieved SOC 2 Type 1 certification, as part of our ongoing commitment to data governance. “Now we’ve gone a step further, and Deckard Technologies is officially SOC 2 Type 2  compliant,” Jess says. “This reflects not just how our systems are designed, but how they perform in the real world. Our security controls are not only robust on paper, they work day in and day out. That has been validated by independent auditors, confirming that our controls are effective, consistently applied, and aligned with the high standards our government partners expect."

The launch of the new Deckard Technologies online presence reflects our investment in making solutions more discoverable, intuitive, and informative for local government decision-makers.

We’ve worked with award-winning business-to-business communications and marketing agency Mahlab to refine our brand and design and launch a new website that makes it easy to discover GovTech solutions and insights with real value for government teams.
